Norwich Jazz Club are excited to present the Zero Gravity Trio – a dynamic instrumental group blending funk, jazz, fusion and world music, known for their tight grooves, melodic interplay, and high-energy performances.
Featuring Tiago Coimbra (bass), Chris Diamand (guitar/keys), and Joe Taylor (drums), the trio combines technical musicianship with deep rhythmic feel in an evening of original compositions influenced by artists such as Marcus Miller, John Scofield, Herbie Hancock and Weather Report.
In 2024 they collaborated with trombonist Dennis Rollins MBE in a sold-out show at Cambridge Jazz Festival. Catch them performing “Spoke” with him in this video. Joining the trio this evening as their featured frontline guest will be rising star alto saxophonist Luke Montgomery.
